Circle of Care
Circle of Care is a comprehensive support center for children
and families facing grief and loss. Circle of Care is one of very
few programs in the country devoted exclusively to the needs of
children and their families who face these overwhelming family
crises. Amy has been a group support group facilitator, since
March of 2003, for kids ages 2-10 who have lost one or both parents.
Welcome Home® Furniture Rental, together with their customers
and the Lynch Family, were proud to provide all 56 children who
utilize Circle of Care services with gifts for the 2006 Holiday
Party.
On 28 June 2006 – Amy Boxer received a Certificate of Appreciation
from United States Senator Barbara Boxer in recognition of her
outstanding volunteer service to East Bay Agency for Children’s
Circle of Care Program.

(Child Abuse Listening Interview and Coordination Center.)
The CALICO Center serves as a multi-disciplinary hub, bringing
together law enforcement, child welfare workers, and prosecutors
to coordinate Alameda County's response to child abuse and link
children and families with vital therapeutic, medical and legal
support services. CALICO is often the place where abused children
recount their experiences in full for the first time. A supportive
and effective response from CALICO is therefore crucial in fostering
healing and ensuring that offenders are held accountable.
Amy Boxer currently serves on the CALICO Board of Directors.
